Dr. Melissa Bosserman is a Naturopathic Physician and founder of The Boss Clinic, LLC in Oregon City, Oregon.
Born and raised in Oregon, Dr. Melissa began her healthcare career in 2007 as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and long-term care.
In 2014, she began pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor and enrolled at the National University of Natural Medicine. She graduated with her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in 2018 and founded The Boss Clinic.
The Boss Clinic offers a more personal and individualized approach to healthcare.
As a solo practitioner, Dr. Melissa works directly with her clients and believes good healthcare begins with building relationships, listening to the entire health story and understanding each person’s individual healthcare preferences.
She takes time to research conditions, educate her clients about their options and develop individualized treatment approaches. Her care combines conventional approaches with naturopathic medicine and herbalism while respecting each client’s ability to make informed decisions about their own healthcare.
Initial visits are typically 60–75 minutes, with follow-up appointments ranging from 20–60 minutes, depending on individual needs.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Melissa is a lifelong Oregonian who loves the outdoors. She enjoys camping, hiking, cycling and running and is also a competitive USATF Race Walker. She became a USATF Masters National Champion in the 5K Race Walk in 2016 and finished seventh in the 2020 National 50K Race Walk Championships/Olympic Trials.
She is also a mom, artist, photographer, pianist and singer who currently sings soprano on her church’s worship team.
