Meet Joe and Sarah, the husband-and-wife team behind The Humble Pig Cafe in Molalla, Oregon!

You guys, this business is extra special to me because I actually went to high school with Sarah! And seeing what she and Joe have built together makes me incredibly proud.

These two are the definition of hardworking, community-loving small business owners who genuinely care about the people they serve.

And their story is pretty incredible!

Joe grew up in Sandy, Oregon, and discovered his passion for cooking while attending Portland State University. What started as a way to pay for college turned into a career filled with creativity, dedication, and a love for incredible flavors.

From working as a line cook to becoming a chef and business owner, Joe has poured years of experience into creating food that people remember!

Sarah grew up in Oak Grove, Oregon, surrounded by family, food, and nature. Her passion for cooking eventually led her to Oregon Culinary Institute and a career working in kitchens and lodges throughout the West Coast.

Together, they dreamed of opening a place of their own.

And in April 2019, that dream became reality!

The Humble Pig Cafe isn’t some cookie-cutter chain restaurant. It’s a true mom-and-pop business built with hard work, determination, and a whole lot of heart.

They take pride in using quality ingredients, creating flavorful homemade food, and giving their customers something a little different.

But here’s what I personally LOVE about Joe and Sarah.

THEIR HEARTS FOR THIS COMMUNITY ARE HUGE!

These two have experienced their share of challenges, yet they continue showing up, giving back, supporting their neighbors, and going the extra mile whenever they can.

They don’t just run a restaurant. They genuinely care about the people who walk through their doors.
